National Faith Rider Motorcycle Ministry continues Growth

14 years ago while preaching at First Baptist Church at the Mall, Lakeland, Florida, I never dreamed what came from my heart and mouth would turn into a NATIONAL MOTORCYCLE MINISTRY.

I challenged the church to launch across the state of Florida with their dream and ministry. Some 200 motorcyclist were present that day in normal week to week Bible Study and the rest is history....from that day a vision and passion caught hold of me, Buddy Newsome (Church Chapter Director) and Dave McClamma (Church Missions/Evangelism minister). Now that 1 local church motorcycle ministry has become known throughout the Southern Baptist Convention, as "F.A.I.T.H. Riders Motorcycle Ministry".

It started small and has now grown to 395 chapters with chapter commissioning's in 29 different states and 2 in Cuba. Through the efforts of F.A.I.T.H. Riders members, for 7 years at Daytona Bike Week alone, we have seen 26,250 people hear the gospel of Jesus Christ presented one on one and 2,943 of them said yes to the salvation message of Jesus! That is over 10% of those hearing an intentional Good News presentation being BORN AGAIN!

Now, this is in Daytona alone at the annual week long event and does not factor in the unknown number of people who have heard the gospel presentation at other locations across the country through the many evangelistic efforts of F.A.I.T.H. Rider members.
